Children and Young People's Mental Health

Overview

This course will cover a range of important topics related to mental health conditions that children and young people can experience including the signs of many mental health conditions including ADHD, Depression, Eating Disorders and self harm. You’ll learn about symptoms and causes and the actions you can take if you suspect someone may need help.The course also discusses mental health professionals and their roles, along with parents and how they can get involved. Finally you’ll learn about practical techniques you can use to help young people or children.
