    This unit provides an introduction to the Introducing Team Leader & Supervisory Skills course, outlining the course structure and explaining how the following units cover key topics in leadership and supervision.

  • Understanding the Role of Team Leaders and Supervisors

    We begin the course by exploring key leadership and supervisory terms. This unit also provides an overview of organisational structures and the ways team leaders support both management and the wider business.

  • Leading a Team

    This unit focuses on how to lead a team effectively as a leader or supervisor. You’ll learn about effective communication, setting objectives, and motivating your team to achieve the best results.

  • Managing Workflow

    Here, we examine how to manage team workflow through monitoring performance, creating and maintaining schedules, and prioritising tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Supporting your Team

    In the final unit, we explore how to support your team through effective training, performance evaluation, constructive feedback, and resolving issues or disputes in the workplace.

Obtaining your certificate

You will need to pass a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course in order to gain your accreditation. Once passed, we will send your official certificate by email.
