Module 1: Level 1 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate
- Introduction & Expectations of Workers
Introduces the course format and explains personal hygiene requirements and expectations for anyone working in food preparation.
- Illness and Cleaning
Covers obligations when working while ill or after recent illness, followed by best practices for cleaning activities and safe use of cleaning cloths.
- Pests, Food Handling and Storage
Explains how to prevent and manage pests, and sets out safe food handling practices and optimal storage methods.
Obtaining your certificate
You will need to pass a multiple-choice exam at the end of the course in order to gain your accreditation. Once passed, we will send your official certificate by email.
